When we finally found out room the balcony's door handle was hanging off if the hinges and there was a stick to put in the door to lock it! The bathroom had used bottles of shampoo and lotion in it! The people here aren't too friendly it seems like everyone came to do their job. The plus side is all of the water activities were free!!

I left my shoes in the first room and when I asked about them, no one co uld find them. We travel a lot and this was a huge disappointment. It was like Deja vu eating the same food over and over again. I definitely would not recommend or go there again!

I called Apple when the hotels were switched to make sure I would receive the same accommodation's that I paid for , I was told I was protected I even received an email from Apple stating this. So I went back up waited on the night manager he told me Apple booked a standard room after some heated discussion I went back to the room 1. I filed a written complaint but it was not answered by the management of the Wyndham Resort. In this case, people that booked through cheaper reservation systems got VIP treatment such as Groupon and Livingsocial.
Not only did they get better seating at dinners and the better rooms, they also got preferred bar service and a roped off section of the beach with padded chairs. They have no clout at resorts to guarantee the customer gets what they pay for, the customer pays a premium through their service and the resort treats those customers worse. I give this resort a 4 star review. The resort is at half capacity this week so I'm not sure if full capacity would change any of our experiences. I am here with my husband and our daughter. We were checked in on the bus and then stored our luggage upon arrival.
At 3pm, we picked up our bags and within a 5 min line up, had our room cards and were in our room minutes later. I can see the disappointment but in all fairness, there is . I am eating everything and have experienced zero tummy problems. The buffet area does lack the typical service one might be custom to and lighting is bright so there isn't much ambiance but it's fine. That being said - we didn't book into a five star resort so overall this resort has already exceeded expectations!
The only real room issue is the water fluctuation in the shower. It's worthwhile as with any resort to pack travel mugs. We purchased a bottle of wine at the Italian restaurant because good food deserves decent wine : ). Mixed drinks are consistent and tasty. Try the Island Margarita! If you are an early riser like me, coffee is only available in your room's Kureg.
I'm not sure why there isn't a self serve canister somewhere in the lobby. That would be such a simple upgrade! Coffee is available in the buffet at 7am and cappuccinos are available at the lobby bar at 7: 3. Both worth writing home about! All the cleaning staff, front desks, security and beach life guards were great too. No issues at all with unfriendliness!
